Leading Learning Communities:  A Principal's Guide to Early Learning and the Early Grades       

          This guide is dedicated to the memory of Ruby Takanishi.  With her vision, passion, and tenacity, she built a national movement focused on Pre-K-3rd grade.  She believed in the power of school leaders to create transformative learning experiences for young children.  She invested, acted, mentored, and led in accordance with those beliefs.  Carrying forward those beliefs is at the core of this book.  Mahalo, Ruby.
